This is Sally Williams from Urban Outreach. Over eight years ago I made the decision to abort my baby. Did you know that over 16 million African American babies have died from abortions, since abortion was made legal in 1973? Have you ever really thought about what that means to our world, when we say that every life makes a difference. Sixteen million people that were created for a purpose are “missing in action” from our society because of lack of knowledge of abortion. I say missing in action because along with those 16 million babies are 32 million men and women who are wounded from the loss of those babies whether they acknowledge it or not. These babies are missing from our lives yet in most ways still active in our lives. I thought that after I walked out of that clinic that all of my problems from this unwanted pregnancy would be over. Reality is the baby really never went away, yes physically the baby is dead but spiritually my child still lives with me. Action means movement as a woman or man goes through the post abortion phase they are going through the stages of their child’s life. It is only through God’s forgiveness and his grace that I can now see my baby for who God created her to be for me. The joy of my life. We must become educated on the most horrible crime in this world, because abortion is not only murder to that baby it is murder to those left behind that were attached to that baby. Because Life matters, we must value it, respect it and love it enough not to harm it, and that’s exactly what abortion does harm lives.
